An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join a busy and expanding IT Equipment Company based in Witham, Essex
Duties include: To print off sales information from HRS on a daily basis, to create sales invoices on sage and update sales ledger, to record purchase invoices, to produce Sales & Corporate credit notes, to assist the administrator with month end processing, to assist with the production of Corporate statements, to raise purchase orders as and when required, to liase with suppliers to ensure payments made and invoices received in a timely manner, to be responsible for raising spreadsheets detailing payments to be made to all suppliers, to perform credit control for certain sectors, to be responsible for recording daily income received on an excel spreadsheet and any other ad hoc project work including accurate inputting of information into Sage.
Practical knowledge of Sage accounting software an advantage, primarily sales and purchase ledger, you also need to be computer literate in the use of spreadsheets (Excel) and e-mail (Outlook)

Hours: Monday – Friday 09.00am – 5.00pm

Duties include: Being responsible for the monthly invoice routine on XHRS & Sage, ensuring that all invoices etc are sent out accurately and on time, to set up any new Corporate accounts in Sage, to produce Excel statements of account for all of the corporate accounts, to follow up statements with telephone calls to encourage prompt payment of service invoices, to maintain all debt level spreadsheets and to provide the accounts clerk and other members of the accounts team with support when needed as well as general other ad hoc duties.
