The Head is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join their vibrant, dynamic team. This is an exciting role which will progress and develop your childcare skills. The Nursery Class is a busy fast growing part of the school with excellent learning opportunities for all of the children. The Class Teacher is supportive and welcomes anyone who is committed and has the desire to flourish and make their mark within the class. You will be responsible for a key group of children and will play an important part in the transition from nursery to Key Stage 1. You will be planning and implementing activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage as well as observing for extended learning. Reports and Learning journeys will need to be completed and communication with the teacher is paramount.

This is a three form entry primary and nursery school with 575 children on roll. The post will involve providing support and advice to parents of the students, a specialist HI qualification is very desirable, however applications will be considered from candidates who are committed to undertaking the mandatory training.

As an experienced and innovative teacher of the hearing impaired, you will assist in the management and further development of the service offered to these students. You must be able to analyse and think strategically, implement and evaluate new developments, and have high level interpersonal and organisational skills.
