The Head is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate Nursery Nurse to join their vibrant, dynamic team. This is an exciting role which will progress and develop your childcare skills. The Nursery Class is a busy fast growing part of the school with excellent learning opportunities for all of the children. This is a three form entry primary and nursery school with 575 children on roll. The nursery is set in an old building which has lots of character and charm; all of the rooms have been adapted and built to suit the needs of young children. The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is promoted throughout the nursery, with rooms laid out in the 6 Areas of Learning.

This vacancy offers a unique opportunity to join this highly successful and experienced teaching team to support children and young people with hearing impairment from KS3 to KS5. You will be an experienced Secondary SEN Teacher with recent experience of working in mainstream schools within an SEN department. The post will involve providing support and advice to parents of the students, a specialist HI qualification is very desirable, however applications will be considered from candidates who are committed to undertaking the mandatory training.
As an experienced and innovative teacher of the hearing impaired, you will assist in the management and further development of the service offered to these students. You must be able to analyse and think strategically, implement and evaluate new developments, and have high level interpersonal and organisational skills.
