MAIN DUTIES:
Ensure effective, transparent use of financial resources in compliance within the businesses policies and procedures.

Progressive financial management experience is required.
BA/S or equivalent in accounting or finance is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience in the international market is required either with the following international NGO/PSD/Remote Site field experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience and skill with budget preparation and analysis, financial reporting preparation and presentation and the proven ability to translate technical financial data into informative reports.
Strong accounting skills and experience, including management of the general ledger, journal entries, payroll, payables and balance sheet.
Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel.
Prior management experience and strong organisational skills.
Excellent oral and written English skills required.

Outline
The Successful Candidate will assist in the delivering of fibre-optic based permanent reservoir monitoring (PRM) solutions to a global customer base.
The Role Will involve significant travel to manufacturing partners, with visits involving overnight stays, in UK and possible travel to overseas locations for week long trips each month
Primary Responsibilities:
*Management of array build (Quality plan adherence / review / audit throughout build)
*Defines and manages Quality Assurance programme for subsea system delivery
*Review and agrees technical based product quality data and test results
*Supports diagnosis of technical issues during build at manufacturing partners
*Supports manufacturing partner Final Acceptance Testing (FAT)
*Support to tendering activities on manufacturing & quality related areas
Experience required:
*Fiber optic system manufacture, involving WDM's, Couplers, Lasers, EDFA's, RF, detectors
*Ability to understand optical systems and engage with system manufacturer on quality assurance of technical aspects of the system level performance
*Experience of defining quality control criteria and supporting product testing, reviewing of suppliers QA data and agreeing acceptance of parts, assemblies & top level assemblies
*Project mgnt & reporting experience, agreeing status / outlook, reporting progress / issues
*Fluent in MS Project
*Extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering and quality assurance.
