We currently seek a project manager to manage teams of business and technical consultants implementing banking systems into prestigious banks in and around Europe. This role is centred out of my clients office in London but due to the travel requirement could well be home based. Requirements for the role: Prince 2, PMi or equivalent, Strong Demonstrable experience in IT project management; experience in implementing software into banks; an awareness of other projects going on and an ability to access potential impact project/projects. The role will involve initially defining the projects definition setting out scope and clear business objectives. Forecast and monitor revenues for the project and budget in line with deliverables of the project. Obtain client sign off of: Definition, Scope, deliverables and agree milestones and change control items. Plan manage and maximise utilisation of project resources i.e personnel. Implement and manage change control procedures. Manage client expectations. Produce project dashboards and hold project meetings. Raise with management any issues outside of your remit that may effect the success of projects. Monitor quality of deliverables against implementation methdology and maintain file and TMQ documentation. Identify and advise account managers of opportunity to increase revenue. We would really like to see someone out of a fintech player or possibly a bank e.g Misys, WSS, reuters, Fiserv, I-Flex, TietoEnator, Fidelity National Information Services, NCR Sungard, DST Systems, Simcorp, ERI, Thompson Financial.
