An established Electronics Design and Development Company is seeking a Degree qualified and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team working on the design of an innovative range of electronic products for the military, aerospace and telecommunications markets.
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer should have previous experience of designing thermal and mechanical solutions for the packaging of electronic products utilised in harsh environments. A good understanding of electro-mechanical engineering would be a distinct advantage as would solid CAD design skills ( SolidWorks ideal).
You must be able to work well to tight timescales and be independent as well as having the ability to adapt quickly to new situations. Good problem solving skills are required.
Practical experience of thermal analysis is the key requirement for this role.
