4. Principal Accountabilities
• To manage the effective delivery of commercial logistics arrangements, SOP process, MRP, planning, scheduling and distribution (including the European dimension) to the business
• To ensure the effective flow of materials in to and product out of the business in order to meet and exceed customer expectations
• To ensure a robust and achievable plan is created daily/weekly/monthly to meet customer expectations.
• To ensure all departmental key KPI’s are effectively monitored and challenged where appropriate
• To ensure that all appropriate systems are in place to achieve the above including IT
• Ensure accurate stock control levels are maintained
• To be a key member of the operations team and promote all decisions made by the team.
• To liaise with customers to build and strengthen new and existing relationships.
