Online Account Manager
An experienced online account manager is required to optimise and develop a number of our key Partner accounts, such as MoneySupermarket, Confused, GoCompare and many more. You will have a proven track record of increasing lead volumes through Partner accounts, whilst also providing a best in class service to both internal and external stakeholders.
The role:
o To develop and optimise partnerships with appropriate third parties (as outlined above), so as to increase new business lead / enquiry volume submitted via Simply Business
o To run appropriate tests and trials with Partners so as to increase the earning potential for both the Company and their Partners
o To build an in depth understanding of the relevant sales and distribution channels
o To operate within a dynamic Account Management team
o To highlight broader market opportunities to our Marketing team

The right candidate will have:

Job DescriptionPurpose of role:
The primary function of the funding consultant executive is to generate business for the brokerage.
The funding consultant will be responsible for meeting personal and team targets. The candidate must
be able to work under pressure and to set timescales. He or she must be able to work as a key
member of a team, be self-motivated, adaptable, dynamic and ambitious; and be able to liaise with
other teams both internally and outside of the group. The candidate will be able to demonstrate a

Key responsibilities:
Lead generation, using our CRM tool (Saleslogix) to pro-actively market for new prospects
and suspects, identify and develop new brokerage opportunities and pass qualified leads to
the brokerage team.
Manage and develop a client base of prospects and clients.
To progress calls into leads for the Brokerage and ultimately deals for our funding partners.
Managing workloads and prioritising work to meet business targets, personal and team Key
Performance Indicators.
Maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism whist accurately qualifying
prospective clients.
Liaise with all contacts, including the brokerage in a professional, effective and courteous
manner.
Facilitate and record escalations to the Corporate Finance Manager.
To attend regular meetings with team/management and to update on business
development/pipeline activity.
To maintain detailed and timely records and ensure best practice/highest of standards at all
times
Continued Improvement of departmental processes to ensure that customers are processed
as smoothly as possible.

Education:
The candidate will be educated to a high standard and would preferably hold business or marketing
based educational qualifications. The candidate should be educated to GCSE standard or above.
Experience:
The candidate will display a sound knowledge of the telesales/marketing sector. Good knowledge
from a hands-on telesales background is preferable but not essential, as full training is given.
Typically the candidate would have some practical experience within a successful telemarketing
department. Previous roles could include hands-on cold and warm calling exposure. Whilst not
essential, experience within the business finance sector would be preferred.
