Finance Manager
Location: Central London

My client, a leading High Street lender is looking to recruit a CIMA/ ACCA qualified professional for the position of Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be expected to offer financial advice and analysis to the intermediary side of the business. Assisted by another analyst, the candidate would be responsible for all financial reporting and reviewing of all intermediary level financials, which are presented to management and Board.
The Role, Key Responsibilities and Relationships
Manage all financial outputs from the team
Assessing workload and identifying priorities
Work closely with the management team delivering financial advice and support. Deliver financial understanding to staff including financial and business performance
Manage weekly reporting of business flows and Margins
Manage Cost process - reporting budgeting, and forecasting
Manage production of month end income forecasting linked to quarterly / annual targets
Monthly reporting
Prepare early view of business flows
Review / analyse all proposed proc fee changes
Adhoc financial review of plans and proposals
Qualifications and experience required:
CIMA / ACCA qualified or equivalent
Commercial knowledge of a Financial Organisation, preferably with Mortgages
Excellent Powerpoint and excel skills·
Experience of Cost accounting
Good analytical experience and an inquisitive mind to explore new options and ideas
Excellent communication skills (ability to deal with people at all levels, including confidence to deal with senior members of staff / present at senior team meeting)
Self motivated individual with the ability to work independently
