The company are specialists in the fluid handling industry and due to continued growth they now have a requirement for an Electrical Controls Engineer. to join the team.

In the first instance, the successful candidate must have the experience to understand the control requirements of the plant and equipment of individual projects and be able to convey such requirements in the form of equipment lists, schematic diagrams and other technical submission as required.

They must have the experience and confidence to liaise with both clients and sub-contractors in order to ensure all requirements are met and all regulations are observed. As an understanding of the equipment and systems grow, the position will develop to include more aspects of the overall plant and system design.

Although the role is office based, a considerable amount of site support both in the UK and overseas shall be required.

Basic requirements shall include:
The production of schematic diagrams to recognised international standards on CAD format.
The production of electrical equipment lists that will, in addition to the schematics, form a basis for the design of all control panels/systems.
A working knowledge of industrial safety systems and associated regulations.
A good working knowledge and experience of Siemens, Schnider or Omeron type PLC’s with HMI Interface, including the ability to construct code from original concept.
A proven track record in fault finding and/or commissioning a variety of control systems.

Additional experience that would be of benefit includes:
A working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
Experience of other PLC systems.
Experience of AC inverter drives.
Experience of network systems.
Experience of electrical installations

Qualifications:
Candidates must be a degree qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering

Role Summary:

The Programme Manager will be working under the Programme Director and will need to have IT Implementation experience ideally within ERP (e.g Siebel).

Skills:

- Solid programme management

Job Description:
The role involves working in a small team of engineers and developers to create and maintain user assistance for inspection software and hardware. As a member of the team you will be responsible for the complete user assistance development cycle from design through to testing, maintenance and archiving of completed solutions. Experience of multiple language translation projects would be advantageous.

The scope of user assistance development could involve working with touch probes, laser scanners, X-rays and computed tomography, manual arms, robots, optical devices, GPS and other technologies.

The user assistance is mainly developed with Author-it, but HelpServer, RoboHelp, PhotoShop, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, SolidWorks and other software tools, are also used within the Company. Documentation is output in a variety of formats including pdf, html and chm.

Requirements:
Should have current experience of working with the Author-it content management system (CMS). Preference will be given to candidates with specific skills in creating templates for HTML Help and Word documents.
Design, develop, test and maintain user assistance for software and hardware using Author-it.
Use established design parameters and procedures for the development of user assistance, and develop new designs and procedures according to project requirements and in line with industry-standards and new developments in user assistance.
A strong technical background to be able to learn to use the applications and equipment being documented.
Effectively communicate with other members of the development team, with management and with internal and external users of the software.
Be willing to travel between sites in the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Other useful skills
Familiarity with software development tools, including Visual Studio, dotNET, bug reporting and source control.
An understanding of xml and use of editors, schemas and transforms.
Some knowledge of other html Help development tools such as RoboHelp, Help-and-Manual, FrontPage etc.
Experience in the use of Translation Memory tools to localise user assistance and the software interface.

- Primary responsibility will be to design user interfaces for ASP.Net web pages in visual studio using HTML, JavaScript and jQuery

The role
We have a requirement located in Leeds to start ASAP. The two key factors are an Enhanced CRB taken within the last 3 years (including a copy of the certificate) and excellent customer service.

The roles are varied in experience levels, you will be required to represent our client onsite providing varied support to customers in a windows environment.
You will be working closely with other IT Technicians and the IT Operations Manager to ensure that the IT service is delivered effectively to customers.

KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, DUTIES:
- Strong customer-facing IT support experience.

- Windows Server support skills, including Active Directory (AD)
- Basic Networking knowledge (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
