We are currently recruiting for a Technical Review Engineer to work for one of our established clients based in Cheshire. They have over 30 years within their industry and are continuing to grow.
The purpose of the Technical Sales Support/Technical Review Engineer is to provide technical support for Internal and External Sales, during both the Quotation and Clarification stages of the enquiry process. This isn't a hands on positions, the job will be reviewing the customer order for mechanical correctness and reviewing them from an engineering point of view.
Duties will be:
"To ensure that all technical Queries are dealt with and responded to within a specific time
"To ensure that all technical Reviews are dealt with and responded to within a timely manner
"Compilation of full enquiry Technical Reviews, where required, to be documented in writing and stored against each relevant enquiry.
"Technical review of generic Customer Specifications and maintenance of these reviews in common database.
"Responding to Customer requests for Technical Information and Clarifications, for both projects and day to day enquiries.
"Compilation of project quotations and day to day enquiries as and when required.
In order to be successful within this Technical Support/Technical Review Engineer position you should be able to show the following:

"HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or,
"Previous Experience within Technical Review role for 5 years
This is a Permanent position with a salary of £25000 - £28000pa

Our client is looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician to work in their plant based in High Peak. They are a global company that has over 100 years experience supplying quality products, trusted brands and creative solutions to manufacturers of automotive, light commercial, heavy-duty and off-highway vehicles, as well as in power generation, aerospace, marine, rail and industrial.
As the Maintenance Electrician, the role will involve: "An extensive working knowledge of all core plant with the manufacturing area as a whole, is an essential element of this role "The ability to provide rapid response to breakdown where local manufacturing team require assistance "To respond to serious breakdowns where problems have not been fixed on section "To fault find, maintain and repair plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time "To trouble shoot and repair equipment & systems to include Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and PLC "Ability to advise and delegate to ensure work is carried out in accordance with achieving optimum running time on all kit "Undertake specialist project work to assist the manufacturing team including Engineers "Refurbish plant as required "Ensure spare parts are sourced as required in support of all the above "Enter maintenance data accurately into CBMS "Communicate at all levels and across all shifts "Provide on the job training as required "Adhere to all environmental, health and safety requirements at all times "5S activities should apply at all times in all areas "Coordinate activities of sub-contract personnel on site as and when required "To provide cover in production roles during operator break times and if required in extreme business circumstances
In order to be successful as the Maintenance Electrician, you should have: "Formal engineering trades apprenticeship "Special knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, electronics, mechanical, PLC and other specific details related to the plant on section "Skills and Aptitude to think logically to fault find and repair sequentially operated plant "An extensive working knowledge of all core plant with the manufacturing area as a whole, is an essential element of this role "Ability to work effectively with CBMS and instruct others on its operation "Self motivated, proactive individual "Fully flexibility "Capable of working in a pressurized environment where production down time is a key focus "Adaptable and a good team player with demonstrable skills "Able to build and maintain effective working relationship "Ability to support in a crisis situation "Able to effectively communicate with team members "Enquiring mind, willingness to adopt new approaches "Able to demonstrate good verbal and numerical skills "Physically capable of manual work including regular lifting, movement of product, climbing of ladders and working at height
This position is a contract position paying £25000 + shift allowance (3 shifts)
