Purpose of Job
This is a management position that ensures:

- To target and develop House Builders, Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Architects. - To get the Company's Domestic Products listed at the specification stage of projects profitably. - Work with marketing to build a database for house builders and architects. - Ensure Goldmine (CRM tool) has all customers correct contacts and divisional offices listed. - Accurately prepare and present tenders and schedules to specifiers. - File and document all tenders and presentations at the Company's Head Office. - Where possible secure plans and specifications in a digital format. - Review, analyse and action leads as they arrive. - Identify new projects from existing contractual partners and ensure that all the organisations involved are aware of the relevant specification schedules. - Work closely with the National Account Manager to ensure that preferred partners are promoted for national contracts. - Ensure that regular audits are carried out on house builder sites where the Company's product has been specified, prior to payment. - To keep accurate records of rebates and payments to contractual partners. - To keep a record of all live projects, ensuring that a record is kept at the Company's head office. - Present quarterly to the Sales Director current status on any live projects, to include monies paid, monies outstanding and monies yet to be claimed. - Carry out any other related tasks at the request of the Sales Director.
Budgeting:
- Responsible for setting rebate schedules on tenders and that they are sustainable via the preferred wholesale partner. - Ensure that the ROI on all proposals is positive. Prepare and propose sales budgets and rebates by project, gaining sign off from Sales Director.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE-

- Proven track record in HVAC sector would also be beneficial and ideally relating to ventilation sales

Controls Engineer - Gas Turbines - UK and International coverage (onshore and offshore)
Salary: 30-40k basic (depending on experience) + overtime/allowances and benefits
Our client offers a wide range of Gas Turbine Engine services to clients across the UK and Internationally.
Due to their continued expansion, they are currently looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join their team.
Working Arrangements and Environment:
The controls engineer will be exposed to and be expected to support by way of:
-Front line troubleshooting/fault finding -Call out emergency mobilisation -Interpret drawing schematics -Interpret operations and maintenance manuals -Calibrate instrumentation -Single handed customer support (with remote engineering assistance as required) -Home based -24/7 duty engineer rota
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Being a time served engineer and ideally having had gas turbine experience for a minimum of 5 years, the controls engineer ideally should be familiar with the following range of aero derivative gas turbines:
-General Electric LM1600, LM2500, LM5000, LM6000 - both SAC and DLE technology
In addition experience with the following range of gas turbines would be desirable
-Rolls Royce Avon, RB211, Trent, Spey, Olympus, RR Allison 501, 571 -Pratt & Whitney -Solar
The controls experience will be in the main:
-Woodward Netcon 5000 -Woodward Micronet -Speedtronic Mark V iDos and/or Windows and/or Mark VI
Additional controls platforms will be:
-Rustronics -Woodward Atlas -Siemens S7
The controls engineer will be exposed to HMI's, Scada, and instrumentation of varying manufacture and will be expected to support accordingly

Workshop Engineer - Rotating Machinery
Location: Berkshire/Surrey
Salary c£42k + contributory pension , free healthcare for self and partner, 20 days holiday year one - rising by one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days after 5 years, life assurance x basic salary - rising to 3 x basic if a member of company pension scheme.
My client are looking for an experienced, degree qualified, mechanically biased rotating machinery engineer to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will receive approx. 2 month's training on products, processes and systems of the Company's range. From thereon he/she will ramp up to take full responsibility of their shop engineering role, whilst enjoying ongoing training. With time, the candidate is to become a repairs expert on their range of rotating machinery products. The role will involve the entire spectrum of repair shop engineering, from initial enquiry through to final shipment and technical support.
The attraction of the role is the variety of the work-load and its complexity. You will be exposed to complex technical issues as well as complex commercial matters and must feel comfortable manoeuvring between these. You will enjoy a lot of interface with the Sales team, but also some interface with the Field Services team, Engineering personnel in the manufacturing facilities (USA and Japan) as well as with the clients directly
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential: *Degree in Mechanical Engineering *Proven experience of rotating equipment repair and/or manufacturing ( compressors, turbines, pumps etc) *Analytical and Mathematical skills *Sound working knowledge of IT systems and spreadsheets
