Amoria Bond urgently requires an experienced Mechanical Technical Lead Engineer to join one of our key clients based in Warwickshire for contract opportunity run for a minimum of 18 months.
You will be expected to lead a small team of highly skilled engineers to design, develop and supply the layouts and mechanical engineering of a turbo machinery project including the associated power systems. You will be involved across the full module and will work to deadlines and key deliverables throughout the contract.
A flexitime system is on offer with overtime also available should the successful engineer wish to partake. The pay rates are flexible based on your skill set but are market competitive.
Requirements:
-Strong Mechanical Engineering background is required
-Design and Development of Rotating Machinery would be desirable
-Experience dealing with components and their associated power systems
-A Mechanical engineering degree or Mechanical engineering chartership would be an advantage
-A broad knowledge across the mechanical engineering disciplines would be desirable (aero, thermal, stress, structures etc).
-Layout design experience for installation and maintainability
Responsibilities:
Working within a small team built solely to deliver against this project, you will lead the design and development of all mechanical engineering aspects including the layouts for installation and maintenance. You will be hands on throughout the design and development of the project and wuill be expected to lead and guide other engineers across the technical work. You role will include specifying key components and their systems for the project and ensure mechanical integrity across the operating range.
