Our client, a leading provider of biometric identity assurance software, is seeking energetic senior consultants to deploy identity assurance solutions. The consultant will be responsible for assigned solution architecture, custom software design and development tasks to integrate products into a complete identity assurance system. Tasks will also include product configuration and customization of biometric products and applications. The candidate will ensure successful integration with 3rd party systems.
The consultants will have hands-on responsibility for implementation and deployment of products. Candidates must be able to evangelize technology and offerings to prospective customers, both in educating prospects regarding biometrics, solution pros/cons, and general architecture advantages/disadvantages. The role will travel around client sites in London and internationally around 30% of the time. So you must to travel happy! You will have 5+ years “Hands on” experience and have an interest in technical implementation and development input on major UK projects. You must have excellent Server Side J2EE plus two or more from the following, Security, Messaging, Web services, ESB / SOA, RDBMS, Workflow / Case Management / BPEL. Strong interface design and development experience. In particular, experience of enterprise system integration issues (reliability, scalability, transactionality, security etc.) with a deep specialist in either .NET / Java technologies with strong working knowledge of the other. Strong development knowledge of enterprise relational databases (e.g. Oracle or DB2 Server). Highly Desirable: experience in information security, biometrics, PKI infrastructures and large government organizations is a major plus as well as exposure to OASIS XML standards (WSS, SAML.etc). You will need be Security Cleared (SC) or above but will look at candidates whose clearance has expired / candidates who are currently going through the clearance process.
