A vacancy has become available for a Senior Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to work within a multidiscipline consultant environment based at our client's office in Watford, Herts.
The successful candidate will be Degree Qualified and preferably a member of a recognised Institute such as CIBSE.

A modern recycling company offering an innovative range of waste management solutions within collection, recycling, treatment and disposal services is currently looking for a Multi-skilled Engineer to support state of the art automated machinery. You will be expected to provide planned and reactive maintenance, breakdown repair and fault finding, electrical / mechanical installation of a range of machinery including conveyors, trommels, compactors, automated cranes, shredders, and compressors.
Suitable candidates should have served a recognised apprenticeship, ideally be educated to ONC level in electrical engineering, be able to read electrical / engineering drawings and diagrams, have experience with PLCs and hydraulic / pneumatic machinery from within a process / manufacturing industry. A full driving licence is required, a fork truck / cherry picker licence is preferred but not essential, as is knowledge of conveyors and shredders.
The position will involve working a continental shift pattern comprising 12 hour shifts (rotating between days and nights) with overtime will be available to cover holiday periods. A vacancy has become available for a Public Health Design Engineer to work on a large LUL station refurbishment in London's West End for a leading M&E Contractor.
The successful candidate will be Degree Qualified and preferably a member of a recognised Institute such as CIBSE.
The level of experience required for this position means that the successful candidate is unlikely to have been working within the field of Building Services Design for less than 10 years, will be well versed in working on LUL related design and construction projects without supervision and in supervising the work of intermediate and junior staff. The ideal candidate will have experience of working on projects involving Below Ground plumbing, drainage and pumps. LUL station refurbishment experience would be a huge advantage as would experience of working for both M&E Contractors and Consultants. Candidates must also have a solid history of permanent or long term contract positions.
The position is available immediately and we are looking to fill the position as soon as possible.
The position carries a competitive salary, 23 days Annual Leave, Private Medical Cover and Contributory Pension Scheme.

Electricians (Installation & Test)
A leading engineering support services company with expertise spanning the airports, nuclear, defence, rail and marine sectors, is currently looking to strengthen their electrical team at Heathrow. The successful candidates will join a company specialising in baggage handling systems for some of Europe’s biggest and busiest airports, from concept design right through to post-installation maintenance and support.
The Electrician’s role will involve PAT and Cable testing and also some project work such as the installation of conveyor systems or associated machinery, involving disconnecting motors, interfacing, cable running. It will involve working permanent nights (8pm - 6am), 4 nights per week from Monday to Thursday (although they can be a bit flexible on hours). Suitable candidates must have relevant electrical qualifications, including City & Guilds 2391 (test and inspection) and 2377 (PAT testing), be competent reading diagrams and possess prior experience with industrial electrics. As you will need security clearance to carry out your duties we can only consider candidates with a full 5 year check-able work history.
