The Role.
Having experienced phenomenal success and, with an ever increasing order book, we now require an exceptional Sales Manager to focus and drive our commercial activities in Western Europe.
We need a true Leader. You will be an experienced sales manager with a dynamic, "hands-on" approach who can take charge of the sales organisation in selected W. European territories. Whilst organising and putting formal structures in place, you will need to demonstrate commercial hunger and exceptional communication skills coupled to diplomacy and a cultural awareness for the sectors and territories we serve. You will have a technical background and experience of tendering, bid management and selling to MOD, governments and military / defence agencies however personality and the ability to win "hearts and minds" is all important. The successful candidate will be technically qualified in an engineering discipline and will be an outstanding communicator. This role will require relationship building and networking at the highest corporate and government levels coupled to a hands-on approach to managing the tendering process. Foreign language skills are highly desirable (French, German, Spanish or Arabic) as is the ability to travel extensively.
