You will be tasked with visiting clients sites providing compliance related advice on CE marking, electrical and mechanical safety and carrying out safety testing and factory inspections, preparing technical documentation (test reports and technical files) and completing product certification documents and files. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering related degree, HND or equivalent qualification and have an extensive demonstrable background in safety testing holding some form of H&S qualification. Knowledge of global certification procedures and risk analysis techniques would be highly beneficial as would a knowledge of standards and test laboratory quality and operating procedures. Clear and concise communication skills both written and verbal are essential as is a willingness to travel and work on client site. The company offer an excellent base salary up to £38,000 + car or allowance + benefits including pension and private healthcare.
