A successful independent IT software company based in the Horsham area
The role:
A combination of marketing (approximately 70%) and sales (approximately 30%) although the job holder will not necessarily be required to be a hands on sales person, but instead will be required to oversee and monitor a small team of existing sales staff in order to obtain some structure within the department in order to grow it successfully, for example: holding regular meetings, analysing figures and trends, developing and putting into practice ideas with a view to increase new business sales etc.
The marketing aspect of the role will be more involved and will require the individual to work more independently on their own initiative although their will still be regular contact between departments. The organisation have significant marketing collateral. Main responsibilities will include running Google, Ad-words and Yahoo campaigns; PR work, preparing and being involved with exhibitions; creating relevant mailers on company products to e-shot to clients; putting together case studies etc.

This challenging role will encompass the development and implementation of new business development and existing business development activity across the Southern region.
The role will be instrumental in working with the regional marketing and business development team and Partners to ensure they retain their existing clients and maximise their fees from cross-working opportunities and increase fees by acquiring new clients of the right quality.
Principle Accountabilities:
Develop the marketing & BD strategy for the regions larger corporate market and audit service line and sector groups.
Manage the regional targeting programmes, including any external agencies used.

Manage and take overall responsibility for the regions sales and pipeline management

.Work with team to develop and execute the proposal strategy
.Ensure that the firm's propositions to clients are focussed on the client's specific needs Organise the pitch team into appropriate roles and responsibilities.
.Ensure each pitch follows best practice methodology in full.
.Manage effective process for site visits, research and de-brief meetings.
.Organise effective communications with all staff involved during and after the pitch process.
.Manage the content and production of proposal documents according to corporate style.
.Coach and rehearse partners and staff on their roles and in preparation for client-facing situations within the pitch process
Manage the client proposal feedback programme and provide feedback trend analysis into the business as well as provide tactical advice and guidance to partners and proposal teams based on client feedback
Assist in the project management of a client relationship management programme.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and act as an internal cross-selling champion.
Develop, maintain and report on a focused client care programme for major clients
Work with the Regional Market Analyst to develop client satisfaction measurement tools and analysis. Analyse the client base in order to gain a clear understanding of relative values and potential opportunities and weaknesses and develop plans to maximise/reduce as appropriate.
Develop methodologies and support mechanisms to maintain and develop new business development materials
Contribute to the development and training of other members of the BD and marketing team.
Assist with National and Regional Marketing projects as required by the Regional Marketing Manager.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience required:
·CIM marketing qualification
.A marketing professional with substantial business to business marketing experience, preferably within a professional services environment.
.The ideal candidate will already be experienced in client service and new business development activity and marketing planning.
.Detailed service line knowledge to understand how best to meet prospects and clients needs
