The role will be diverse and will offer a high level of autonomy for the candidate. You will be heavily involved in the Quality function working alongside just 1 other analyst. The suitable candidate will have the ability to modify fault find with a strong knowledge of PLC's, carry out and analyse breakdowns . If you have had exposure to Metal detectors, Mixers, multipond Weighers and pack wrappers this would be an advantage. Proven experience of working within the food industry in essential, preferably with a chilled enviroment.

Reporting to the Engineering Managers, the appointed engineers carry out reactive and proactive maintenance on a range of machinery such as conveyor, fryers, palletisers, vacuum packers, form sealers, multi-head weighers, SCADA systems and other food processing and packaging equipment.
Candidates will be expected to be proactive individuals with at least 12 months experience working within the Food Manufacturing industry. Ideally, they will be electrically biased engineers who are trained to ONC/HNC standards. However, our client will consider mechanical Biased Engineers if they also have a strong track record of electrical engineering and hold relevant electrical qualifications. Applicants will also be expected to have PLC skills up to programming level and experience of SAP Systems.
Working Hours: rotating 4 on 4 off nights shifts (12 hour shift)

We are looking for an experienced Quality Controller from within the Fruits Industry to join this busy team for an immediate start.
Within this friendly team, you will work across three areas of the depot, including incoming, outgoing and pack house. You will be carrying out the various types of checks across fruit, involved with visual checks, temperature checks, swabbing and sampling and label checks.
You will also be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met and that compliance is followed.
My client wishes for someone who is able to work as part of a team, possess good timekeeping skills, with an eye for detail. This opportunity would give you the chance of joining a rapidly expanding and successful business who currently supply to all major supermarkets.

Job Description - Support Technician
Job Title: I.T. Support Technician 1st / 2nd Line
Location: Less than 10 miles from Peterborough.
Exciting opportunity to work with an international business to business IT installation and support company specialising in Microsoft and Cisco platforms, hosted services, cloud technology and project management.
This post is an important part of our current expansion and development and is an opportunity for the right candidate to be part of our exciting future.
We are looking for a candidate with commitment and initiative, along with a real passion for technology. Keen to learn and undertake on-going training as part of the role.
Duties and Responsibilities - Desktop support
*Provide 1st /2nd line support to our international client base via phone and email using tools provided.
*To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and be able to log and document all work.
*Adhere to all service management principles and polices.
*Take ownership of client problems and maintain a pro-active attitude.
*Know when to escalate more complex calls to the relevant IT Support member.
*Work with physical and virtual (VMware and Hyper-V) platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities - Other support
*Carry out daily client systems checks, reporting to Technical Manager where necessary.
*Produce monthly reports on clients' systems.
*Update client configuration files.
*Carry out in-house system testing.
*Be responsible for client system back-ups.
Skills / Attributes Required
*Previous Helpdesk (telephone support) experience.
*Excellent telephone manner.
*Strong working knowledge of Microsoft client and Server operating systems including Windows XP, Vista, 7,Server 2003 - 2008, SBS 2003 - 2011.
*Experience with Exchange and is desirable.
*Knowledge of TCP/IP.
*Working knowledge of Routers, Firewalls, Switches and Wireless systems.
*Any of the following certifications would be desirable
CCNA / CompTIA N+ / MCP / MCITP / MCTS / MCDST
*Fle'Hands on' flexible, pro-active approach and a willingness to learn is ESSENTIAL.
*Full Driving Licence and access to own transport.
Salary / Benefits Package
*Circa £16,000 - 18,000 depending on experience + expenses, with 25 days annual leave.
*On-going training provided with great opportunities for future personal development and growth.
