Role Description
The role of Station Manager will be monitored against key success criteria including but not limited to:-

THE ROLE

The company has organically grown their UK business by £5 million over the past 3 years and as part of their plan to grow the business further, they now need to recruit an additional Sales Engineer to join their team.

This vacancy is open to Internal Sales Engineers from within the Power Transmission sector who is looking to take their first step into a Field Sales role.

This tremendous growth has been achieved by the company improving and strengthening their procedures, and by becoming more efficient and effective with their clients. They now have exciting plans to organically grow their business by a further £5 million by 2015 taking them up to a £15 million turnover business.

Role & responsibility:

1. Home based you will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager, 60% of your time spent managing existing accounts (£1 million) and the other 40% will be New Customer generation
2. Generating your own leads as well as responding to incoming enquiries
3. Site surveys, working and understanding customer specifications
4. Power, Torque & Speed calculations will form an integral part of this role so it is vital you have the ability to calculate different speeds
5. Producing quotations, maximizing all account potentials
6. Covering the South East of England as a territory as far north as Nottingham and as far east as Oxfordshire and everything within

Experience & background:

1. A proven Internal Sales background in Power Transmission products such as, gearboxes, couplings, clutches, brakes, gearbox mechanical motors, winches, torque limiters, drives & motors (mechanical not electrical), belts & pulleys (technical)
2. A sound Engineering background ideally a minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering although this is not essential
3. Ability to calculate Power, Speed and Torques
4. Full UK driving licence
5. Tenacious, hungry, self motivated with the ability to build strong relationships

Salary:

Up to £35,000 basic (based on experience) + 20% bonus, car, phone, laptop, pension, health care and 28 das annual leave Inc stat
