This Manchester based client is looking for two contractors to help them meet their current demand. They design and manufacture bespoke safety training solutions for various clients within the aerospace industry and need two software specialists as soon as possible.

The first role requires a software specialist to develop embedded software for motion control systems including servo drives and motors. The ideal contractor will have knowledge of Baldor servos and motion controllers but this is by no means a necessity. You will be expected to successfully manage your own workload, organise your time and develop real time programming solutions. The Role

The role is a combination of maintenance support and project and improvement work for control systems on quarrying sites throughout the South. A wide ranging and varied role, project work involves taking full responsibility for improvement, designing and programming the PLC or SCADA systems. You will organise and oversee contractors, having getting hands on involvement in the installation and commissioning of each system.

The Candidate

Site Manager required to work on projects in the south of England. The contracts are due to start at the beginning of August and run for an average of 8 weeks.. The Site Managers will be paid a maximum of £210 per day shift & £250 per night shift based on a 10 hour shift.
Role Description
Site managers will be working on days or nights on a supermarket refresh & refurbishment programmes spanning over 8 weeks. Site managers will be responsible for all health and safety, inductions, site diary and all sub-contractors. The site managers will be working on the new checkouts, partitioning, freezers, painting, decorating with some asbestos work expected. There is also structural alterations expected with the roof being replaced. The site managers must have good organisation and communication skills as they will be responsible for up to 20-50 sub-contractors at any one time on site.
Required Experience
The site manager must come from a retail refurbishment / fit -out background. The right candidate MUST have extensive knowledge and understanding of all aspects of supermarket refurbishment. Night shift experience is also an asset.
Site managers must have a CSCS card and a 4 day first aid, SMSTS is a must
