The Role
Candidates should possess a team orientated, pro-active and motivated approach and enjoy autonomy to manage territory and achieve refurbishment sales in-line with targets.
• Project orientated role, which will require specific specification dealings throughout
• Oversee projects from start through to completition
• Specification sales to specifiers whether architects, surveyors, local authorities, building owners or main and approved contractors
• Production of specifications, inspection reports, surveys and guarantees - tracking and progressing accordingly

Although each area currently has profitable accounts running, the emphasis will be to build and expand the client base and increase agreed turnover.

The successful candidate for this role will be expected to plan and implement the structured development of business relationships with key decision makers in the Commercial Office and High Rise Residential Apartment sectors. The key responsibilities of the role are
•To investigate and map out the key decision making executives, bodies or committees responsible for the planning, investment, specification and delivery of buildings in the Commercial Office and/or High Rise Residential Apartment sector/s.
•To establish, develop and maintain relationships with key players within the Commercial Office and/or High Rise Residential Apartment sector/s on behalf of the Rockwool Group in order to deliver the benefits and value of a total Rockwool Group offering.
•To communicate with & convince key stakeholders on the key differentiators of the Rockwool Group’s services and characteristics.
•In addition to identifying key contacts, identify their supply chains and other requirements to ensure the Group is ‘strongly embedded’ in all relevant target organisations. Evaluate the relationships based on the yield of sustainable sales growth.
•To research, develop, propose and implement the relevant segment business plan in conjunction with the relevant Commercial Directors.
You’ll also be expected to develop relationships with internal stakeholders so as to ensure specifications gained develop into delivered sales & to provide strong segment expertise to all relevant internal support functions (e.g. Marketing, Logistics).
To be considered for these roles you must:
• Have experience in a similar role within a blue chip company. You should have a strong track record of developing key account relationships and networking at senior level with relevant stakeholders
• Have experience or strong knowledge of the Commercial Office and/or High Rise Residential Apartment sector/s.
• Be fully conversant with the mechanics & structure of influential bodies within the Commercial Office and/or High Rise Residential Apartment sector/s.
• Have advanced selling skills, ideally with a strong knowledge of Key Account methodologies.
• Be highly articulate and professional with superb communication skills and the ability to influence and engage people across internal and external stakeholder groups.
Emphasis will also be placed on your experience of translating client needs into deliverable solutions and also your ability to motivate & drive yourself towards commercial success. You should also be highly organised, IT Literate and a polished presenter. Experience/knowledge of the construction industry would also be advantageous.
You may have previously worked as a Relationship Manager, Key Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager or Business Development Manager.
The role is expected to be based in our commercial office in Hammersmith, London but consideration will be given to home based candidates who live a manageable distance from London.
