Job Description:
Prepare practicable and economic Heat Exchanger Mechanical Designs, including, thermal calculations, strength calculations, material selection setting plans and tube layouts. Prepare mechanical designs for Pressure Vessels. Prepare engineering procedures, specifications and standards. Prepare specifications, data sheets, requisitions, technical bid evaluations , and drawings. Provide technical recommendations on the selection of equipment to meet Project requirements. Check and review vendor proposals, documentations and drawings. Lead or participate in vendor meetings. Requirements (Essential)
Must have an understanding of Thermal Design Calculation programs such as HTRI and HTFS and to be able to interpret the results into practicable designs. Have an understanding of strength calculation programs such Finglow and PVElite. Experience of working to Industry Standards and codes such as ASME, TEMA & API. Some knowledge shall extend to include the requirements of other disciplines involved in the procurement, design and installation of equipment.
