Our client is a Fortune 300 company, they have facilities worldwide, enabling the production and distribution of medication used in clinical trials. Our client’s site in Horsham, West Sussex employs over 450 people in the areas of project management, production and distribution GMP operations and Quality.
Due to an expansion in the department our clients are recruiting an additional Business Partner to join their HR team.
The main focus of the HR Business Partner role is:-
- The HR Business Partner will work in partnership with line managers to address the key people management issues, building and maintaining relationships
- Coach, guide and offer best practice advice to line managers on all aspects of HR
- New training and HR initiatives
The HR Business Partner will be based mainly in the Horsham site but in addition will manage some remote sites (mainly UK travel but potential of some international travel).
HR Business Partner - Essential / desirable skills
- Experience HR partnership environments or HR Shared Services would be an advantage
- Previous HR experience as an HR generalist
- Demonstrate experience of coaching line managers
- Extensive experience of managing ER issues at all levels
- Work with managers to develop and implement business strategies
- To carry out the selection process attending selection interviews
- Good understanding of employment legislation
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
- Excellent understanding of Employment Law
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible, able to travel
- Highly PC literate

Project Manager - Supply Chain / Shipping - Role
In this role you will be accountable for ensuring delivery of key customer projects, to time, quality and budget. This is accomplished working with a team comprising of Operations, Quality, and Business Development.
You will provide extensive customer communication in development of project specifications (supply chain / shipping), production documentation and detailed projects plans. This role covers all aspects of business implementation and service, monitoring all supply chain/shipping activities.
Project Manager - Supply Chain / Shipping Candidate requirements:
- The Project Manager will be working in a fast, customer focussed environment with a high attention to detail
- You will also be able to demonstrate strong organisational, verbal, written and numerical skills and excellent report writing skills
- Your Customer service skills and proactive approach to work with your customer are essential to the success of the role
- Knowledge of Clinical RandD process, Clinical Trials supplies, or experience of similar roles would be an advantage but not essential
Project Manager - Supply Chain / Shipping – Experience /Skills
- Good understanding of supply chain, international trade and commercial shipping functions
- Knowledge of the provision of international services
- Flexible and adaptable with strong customer management skills
