Our client is looking for a Product Quality Engineer to join their growing team. As a Product Quality Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
Reviewing quality control systems and procedures, ensuring policies are being complied with throughout the product life cycle and that information is accurately maintained and compliant to the contractual requirements. Implementation of plans to ensure an integrated quality management, health &safety and environmental systems accreditation is maintained. Reporting performance through KPI's and weekly revenue communications. Working closely with managers to fully interrogate customer requirements, identifying critical path activities, coordinating with purchasing, scheduling order fulfilment within the master schedule etc. Preparing proposals and reviewing contracts for quality assurance conformance, ensuring the flow down of customer requirements into the production process through the preparation of quality plans and the effective assignment of quality requirements in the manufacturing data pack. Designing and implementing quality assurance training programs and conducting training in quality related topics

As a Product Quality Engineer your skills and experience should include:
Ideally educated to Degree/HNC level in Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality or with commensurate Professional Experience.
Understanding of relevant standards/best practice standards associated with Quality Management - ISO 9001:2008 or equivalent Ability to assess documents in order to fully identify customer requirements
IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 qualified preferable at Trainer level being prepared to challenge current ways of working and looking for continual improvement.

As a Procurement Manager/ Procurement Lead you will be responsible for all the procurement activities within the Auxiliary Mission Equipment value stream (Weapons Carriage & release products). In this value stream our client is concentrating on Procurement professionals who have managed ongoing programmes in an Original Equipment Aerospace/Defence company.
You will be leading a team of four (Sourcing Managers, Sub Contracts, Forecast Analyst),to ensure value stream requirements are met in line with cost, schedule and performance measures.
As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for sourcing new suppliers..
Accountable for on time delivery, supplier management, quality, Material Price Variance (MPV) and cost reduction/ maintenance associated with inbound supply of goods/services for both pre production and production programmes.
Accountable for all procurement KPIs for the value stream both internally and with supply base.
Our client is looking for an ambitious individual who is keen to progress within a very successful Aerospace/Defence business.
As a Procurement Manager/ Supply Chain Manager our responsibilities will include
Implement and support commodity and new programme strategies to deliver cost, quality, delivery and supplier reduction goals and KPI’s.
Sourcing new suppliers.
Responsible for Lifecycle Management Gates 1 – 5.
Responsible for the management of purchase records in the ERP system.
Support the SIOP process by providing suppliers capacity and constrains to develop a robust production plan..
Responsible for the establishment and implementation of all replenishment arrangements with suppliers (Consignment inventory, Kanban, etc).
Management of costing and pricing discrepancies and their correction and ongoing resolution.
Ensure adherence to all procurement and Business Management System policies and close working relations with wider procurement team.
Develop positive ethical relationship with suppliers.
Manage the implementation of cost reduction projects, and improvement initiatives to achieve overall procurement and business objectives..
Management of team of direct reports ( 4 currently).
Executive reporting internally to stakeholders and externally to customers and suppliers.
Acts as point of escalation for internal value streams, maintain ownership and resolution of issues.
Generation of all required metrics and reports to the required standard within required timescales.
As a Procurement Manager / Supply Chain Manager your qualifications and experience should include -
Purchasing management experience in an aerospace/defence environment is essential..
Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding purchasing, logistics, in coming product inspection, planning experience, SIOP and inventory control.
Bachelor degree in Engineering and/or Business desired.
Professional supply chain qualification such as APICS – CPIM is desirable.
Knowledge of ITAR regulations and export licences would be an advantage but not essential.. .
Strong assertive individual, able to stand their ground, commercially very astute.
