My client is an established automotive manufacturer based in Hampshire who is currently looking for a Team Leader on a permanent basis.

Understand all aspects of Quality associated with process
Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment

Your Roles & Responsibilities will include:-
Directly manages the operation of the section which will include supervising and co-ordinating personnel to ensure delivery against targets and KPIs etc
Front line for people management of the section, including HR-related activities such as recruitment and selection, induction, probationary reviews, Return to Work interviews, managing holiday requests and disciplinary issues
Monitors individual team members to identify and schedule training required. Works closely with team members to recognise shortcomings or weaknesses and addresses these issues. Follows IPMD process for reviewing and managing performance
Supports the Mould & Lighting Supervisor with the smooth introduction of new products in line with SDS
Carries out regular team briefings, ensuring all staff are aware of and understand Company strategy, objectives and priorities and disseminates information to the team and forwards information up-line in a timely manner. Mentors and directs their team to resolve problems and escalates to senior management in a timely manner
Ensures compliance with TS16949, ISO14001/18001 and Health & Safety Regulations of employees under your control, maintaining team members awareness through regular communication.
The hours of work are double days Week 1 = 06:00-14:00, Week 2 = 14:00-22:00. The rate of pay is £20k-£24k + 20% shift allowance.

Our client is an award winning manufacturer based in the Fareham / Southampton area; they operate in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry. Due to steady expansion business they are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join their team.
Your main role will be to support the production manager in the day to day running of the shop floor/production; this is a very hands on role. You will work closely with the shift team supervising day to day activities to enable the team to achieve and exceed budgeted requirements, adhering to SOPs and reducing out of specification results. Continually striving to improve the quality and service level for the product range.
This position will be working on their night shift, they work 12 hour shifts on a 4 day on 4 day off rotating shift. Hours are 7pm to 7am. The salary is £27000 (including your shift allowance.
Requirements for the role:
Previous supervisory experience within a high volume manufacturer
You will need to have experience of training employees
Able to motivate a team
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement
You will ideally have experience working within a medical/pharmaceutical/clean room environment but this is not essential
Used to working under pressure
Experience of working to production and quality targets
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills and able to communicate at all levels
Computer literate, familiar in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Good manual dexterity
Some PLC skills and basic machinery maintenance skills
Main Duties:
Ensure health and safety policies are adhered to
Ensure quality targets are adhered to throughout the process by all production staff
Support the Production Manager on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the shift
Scheduling of work for each process area to ensure work flow, both within the shift and across shifts

Supervising the team, dealing with the day to day issues and escalating the more serious issues to the Production Manager and other departments as required
Reporting of and acting on process defects
