Strong interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills are a pre-requisite and you will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

You will be self-motivated with the ability to develop strong working relationships, pro-active and dynamic you will go the extra mile for your customers and company. You must be diplomatic - you will be working with extremely high net worth clients who can be difficult. You will have a strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and knowledge of distribution channels and products.

A recognised degree in engineering electronics or mechatronics from an accredited university is required. English is the language most often used in business but a second language would be useful eg. Arabic.

Hands-on project management of high-end custom install residential projects for single dwelling, multi-dwelling and marine projects. As Senior Custom Install Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on varied and challenging audio visual, security and home automation systems, from client brief stage, site survey and pre-sales through to design, design development, installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance and support. This will require liaison with clients (developers, contractors and high-net worth individuals) and liaison with other professionals working on the project, including technical sales, AV systems designers, installers, programmers and commissioning engineers. You will also supervise works done by the engineering team, as well as schedule design and installation work and oversee the procurement of required equipment and materials. Preparation and monitoring of project budget is also under your control. It will be your responsibility to ensure compliance with main contract. You will have major input into the direction and success of projects, working in a consultative way to achieve the client objectives within budget and on time. You will be given full support by a strong technical team with vast experience of complex AV, security, home automation and control systems. Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements
Must be a proven Audio Visual Project Manager with strong hands-on and project experience of a wide variety of high-end custom install AV solution projects including single and multi-dwelling projects, and ideally marine/super yachts. Must have worked in multi-discipline project teams, with the ability to work with a variety of professionals and have a strong knowledge of residential technology projects. Must have a strong understanding of AV solutions, including multi-room AV, home automation systems, home cinema and home security systems; their design, installation, programming and testing. Ideally you will have an excellent understanding of AV systems integration with IP networks and existing IT systems. A strong understanding of the capabilities of control systems is essential (such as Crestron, AMX, Lutron, KNX, Control4, Universal Remote Controls & Relux). Some design capability with AutoCAD on AV systems for pre-sales/tender designs would be an advantage. Must have the ability and presence to liaise with clients at senior level, external consultants and project directors. Must be confident on-site and in an office and be IT literate, with a good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook; knowledge of Microsoft Project would be an advantage. Prince II certification would be an advantage. Most projects will be based in and around the London and the South East of England, but there will be occasions when you may be required to travel further (including overseas). A full UK driving license is essential.

As a Senior AV Custom Install Engineer, you will perform hands-on installation of a wide range of bespoke integrated AV and home automation systems. Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements
Must be a proven audio visual engineer with experience installing, commissioning and servicing high end home cinema and multi-room AV systems. You will need technical expertise in some or all of the following: Multiroom AV systems, Home Cinema systems, Structured Cabling and rack building; Control Systems (e.g. Creston, Extron, AMX, Control4, Lutron, LNX), home networks/ home office IP networks. Personal attributes should include being a team player who is highly organised, will take responsibility for delivering customer satisfaction and come up with creative solutions to difficult problems. A full UK driving license is essential. Control system programming skills would be an advantage, as would experience working on marine projects, such as AV systems for yachts or similar. Must be flexible and willing to work overseas for short periods.

You will have recent experience of Product or Business Management working for a vendor in the PC industry. You will be entrepreneurial with strong commercial and strategic skills and knowledge. Results oriented, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to positively influence key stakeholders. You will be able to show evidence of successfully bringing products to market and developing their business, of developing key customer and vendor relationships and have excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

You will of degree calibre, a planner and organiser with good business process knowledge and attention to detail. Knowledge of the AV industry and Channel and of the Education market would be advantageous.
