WRS are very pleased to be working in conjunction with one of the leading contractors in the Offshore Industry.

We are currently looking for a Planning Engineer to join their Operations Division, based in France.

If successful you will be reporting in to the Planning Section Leader and your key responsibilities will be to establish, monitor and update the overall project planning whilst assisting the Project Manager in maintaining the project schedule.

Your Day to Day main Duties will be to:
+ Formulate a work breakdown structure that is coherent with the project execution strategy, establishing activity weightings that enable a representative measure of the project progress to be determined.
+ Formulate high level (summary) and detailed schedules (levels 2 & 3) including Client and
subcontractors input that enable the Project Manager, Client and management to ascertain project status at any point in time.
+ Responsible for making visible the various schedule requirements so that the project supervision (Engineering leads, buyers and construction supervisors) is made aware of their responsibilities for deliverables and that schedule ownership is achieved.
+ Produce regular reports such as progress figures, S-curves, “look-a-heads”, etc to permit the project to be well managed and which highlight areas of concern so as to enable the Project Manager to take timely action.
+ Co-ordinate and edit the regular project report to the Client in-line with the corporate and contractual requirements.
+ As necessary produce detailed planning for increased scope visibility e.g. detailed deliverable schedules.
+ Review, as directed, Contractors’ schedules, loading and capacity charts to determine feasibility and congruency with master project schedule.
+ Pursue, monitor and record progress in each area of project activity.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Vocational qualification or degree in a numerate discipline with planning or hands-on planning experience in an offshore, shipyard, engineering or project management environment.
- Good experience in MS Office applications.
- Detailed knowledge of Primavera (P6) and Microsoft project planning software.

WRS are pleased to be assisting with the search for a HEAD OF SHUTDOWN PLANNING for a Joint Venture of 2 leading names in the Oil & Gas industry for their high profile Production Plant in Qatar.

The Role will involve the successful candidate being responsible for assisting in managing the various Shutdown Planning strategies / activities of our clients plants / specific units in order to minimise losses in the utmost effective manner.

Key requirements include:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A project management certification is preferred.

Minimum Experience:
• 10 - 12 years in a Shutdown planning and execution function within a plant.

The main duties that the successful applicant will be responsible for will include:

Department Strategy Formulation
- As a senior member of the Maintenance team, the successful candidate will contribute to the formulation and implementation of the Maintenance Shutdown Planning departments strategy and plans as appropriate to the Maintenance department needs and objectives.

Section Management
-Responsibility for supervising the day-to-day Maintenance Shutdown Planning activities operations, ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established standards and procedures, employees are motivated, understand what is expected of them and perform according to the designated standards.

Shutdown Cost Management
-You will assist in managing the drawing of shutdown plans in order to minimise shutdown costs effectively.

Shutdown Planning & Scheduling
- Assist in managing the appropriateness and robustness of the shutdown plans so as to ensure compliance with our clients production schedule, as well as, optimise cost efficiencies as per the roadmap.

- Assist in managing the completeness of shut down plans in order to comply with the clients expected standards of project timelines.

- Audit front end loading processes for the bi-annual major shutdown (s) in order to keep concerned departments abreast with forthcoming activities.

The role will involve:

Being responsible for all mechanical maintenance of the plant and leading the mechanical maintenance team to ensure the availability, reliability and integrity of the plant in Qatar.

You will report into the Maintenance Manager and will have 2 Maintenance Supervisors reporting to you.

Successful candidates are required to have Knowledge of petro-chemical mechanical equipment maintenance and reliability management at middle management level.

Profession-specific Knowledge:
- SHE knowledge and management.
- Maintenance of all types of rotating equipment like turbines, compressors, pumps etc.
- Mechanical technical knowledge of reactors, reformers, boilers, pressure vessels, hydro-crackers etc.
- The inspection criteria for mechanical equipment
- Doing maintenance/business in the Middle East
- Maintenance strategy development and implementation

Job-specific knowledge
- Planning and managing of shutdowns.
- Personnel recruitment and performance management.
- Maintenance management and measurement.
- Budgeting/costing control
- Knowledge of a CMMS like SAP

For the successful candidate Key Tasks will involve:

- Managing the mechanical maintenance of variety of rotating equipment, reformers, reactors, boilers, hydro-crackers, critical pipe lines etc as per detail below.
- Managing the civil maintenance of variety of equipment, structures, refractory, buildings, fire proofing.
- Ensure the integrity of the mechanical equipment of the plant by doing maintenance according to approved maintenance strategies.
-Carry out audits on all maintenance management functional activities according to predetermined schedule too ensure compliance and prevention of complacency.
- Development/Review of RCM/RBI mechanical maintenance strategies for each piece of mechanical equipment
- Development/Review of Safe Maintenance Procedures (SMP’s) per piece of equipment
- Assist in “Plan, organize, lead and control shutdowns for mechanical equipment
- Implementing safety policies and standards; managing the safety of the mechanical section accordingly.
- Coordinate project execution for the mechanical department.
- Assist in developing the Budget, responsible for mechanical budget “cost management” within world best practices

We are currently looking for Experienced Structural Engineers to join their Engineering division, based in France.

If successful you will be reporting in to the Structural Manager and your key responsibilities will be to:

- Analyze, determine and specify the structural requirements and considerations applicable to the Company’s products and proposals.

- To design efficient structures which can be realized safely and economically.

- To produce, organize and coordinate the production of structural analyses reports and
specifications.

Candidates will ideally come from an Offshore Contracting background and will have strong experience in Offshore Structure and FPSO Design.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- 7 years experience in Structural Engineering / min 2 years in the Offshore Construction Industry.
