Ensuring Test development

Tooling Reviews
Ensuring that Training of assembly staff is carried out
Build reviews and phase exit reviews.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Production Engineering / Manufacturing Project background with in depth new product introduction (NPI) acumen within an electronics manufacturing / electro-mechanical assembly (ideally within a low volume, high value production environment). Experience of managing projects involving operational/production change essential as is proven experience of lean methodologies (six sigma ideally) and Quality tools including (FMEA, risk management) with a track record of successful implementation of these principals.

This is a senior appointment working within an established yet growing manufacturer, operating at the top end of their market.
Reporting to Director level, the Quality Manager will manage a small team and assume overall responsibility for a range of quality issues both within production and across the whole organisation.
