Our client is a 2 man start up company that have designed and produced their first prototype model of their business venture. They are currently seeking a project engineer with a manufacturing engineering background for a 3 month contract based in the Wales Area.
As my client is a new start up company they are looking for an experienced manufacturing project engineer to run through all the processes from initial design stage through to complete manufacture and delivery.
This is initially a 3 month contract but dependant upon our client's development with this project there could be the view of a 9-12 month contract. We can offer a rate between £20 and £23 p/hr but this depends on experience and skills available. There is free accommodation on site so staying away will not cost you. |

The Role:
Inspection of electronic equipment to agreed design specifications and quality standards.
To provide active support of lean manufacturing methods and participation in process and quality improvement activities.
Key responsibilities:
Inspection of electronic products at all stages of production and repair as well as, after training & assessment, the final authorisation of QACs prior to shipping.
Interim and final inspection of PCBs, sub-assemblies, modules and units.
Identification of fault trends and implementation of corrective action to prevent recurrence of problems is key to this role.
Assessment of products returned from customers for modification and repair will be undertaken.
Effective liaison with test engineering and design staff will be required to fulfil the requirements of this role.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following essential requirements:-
Electronic component recognition, basic soldering skills and ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of both conventional and SMT PCA processes as well as unit assembly processes.

Our client is a very well established design and manufacture engineering company for the defence industry. They are urgently seeking a number of AutoCAD Design Engineer's after recently winning a number of large projects. Our client specialises is the design and manufacture of precision measurement equipment for the automotive industry. Due to a rapid increase in project work they are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsperson on a contract basis for 6 months.
The candidate they are currently looking for will have a background in either the design of special purpose machinery or packaging machinery or machine gauging tools as you will be required for the design of high precision gauging equipment which is used in the automotive industry. The CAD package used is AutoCAD, being fully conversant on this is a must.
