The Automation Engineer will join a team providing solutions for clients across a range of sectors that reduce operational costs, improve quality of product, plant performance and enhance productivity and efficiency;
Delivering automation and related information systems in the life sciences, food, medical technology and advanced technology sectors, the successful engineer will take responsibility for the design, programming and commissioning of automation systems, covering the entire process of design from concept through to commissioning and will include writing of design specifications; designing of control panels/systems and configuration of PLC/SCADA systems. The Field Service Engineer will be joining a leading technical support specialist who are committed to providing continued training and development for all employees.
The successful Service Engineer will fulfil a diverse role incorporating machine breakdowns, machine tool calibrations, annual maintenance contracts and applying volumetric compensation ensuring you achieve the optimum performance from all machines ranging from very large gantry machines to small milling machines. Cutting edge technical solutions provider urgently requires experienced Senior Instrumentation Engineer/Designer to join a team providing solutions for clients across a range of sectors that reduce operational costs, improve quality of product, plant performance and enhance productivity and efficiency;
The Senior Instrumentation Engineer/Designer will take a leading role in all aspects of instrumentation on multiple projects either standalone or part of multi-disciplined project. Project activities include the planning and execution of conceptual, basic and detailed engineering, implementation, testing, commissioning and qualification.
You will be able to supervise other instrumentation engineers, co-ordinate with third parties and other engineering and project functions, and act as a Project Engineer where necessary managing time, cost and quality requirements to client and company requirements. This will be a client facing role requiring the ability to interact effectively with clients and third party personnel.
National and international travel is likely in this role.
Project experience of either pharmaceutical, food, medical or waste management would be highly desirable, but not essential.
Demonstrable capability in Instrumentation Engineering & Design is required including: Instrument Index, I/O Lists, Instrument Specifications, Instrument Layout Diagrams, Control Panel Layouts, Loop Diagrams, Cable Schedules/Routing Diagrams and Instrument Installation Specifications.
