3 to 6 month contract for a Helpdesk support (1st/ 2nd line) for a Blackburn based corporate solutions business. You will be providing technical support relating specifically to the bespoke/ in-house systems.
Overall Purpose:
To provide a high level of service to internal and external customers via the help
desk
To answer helpdesk calls and e-mail queries.
To provide end user/telco training as and when required
Dealing with customer queries in relation to any of the group supported products in
a helpful and courteous manner.
Ensure accurate entry into the appropriate system of all cases
To ‘own' end user problems if required and ensure the customer is kept informed.
To ensure effective communication of solutions to end customers
Answering overflow calls
Assist in the testing of new or updated software
To present a professional image of the company
Testing and Batch sampling of end user products
Creation of letters for online customers
Assist Services Team Leader with the production of customer reports
Additional functions:
Such other duties as may be determined from time to time by the Services Team
Leader. In particular a degree of flexibility will be required in order to deliver
company goals and objectives.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed:
Excellent PC Skills and previous experience of working on a Technical Helpdesk.
Ability to deal effectively with customers.
Ability to accurately record cases/queries and effectively track them to their conclusion.
Salary £18,000 - £21,000 pro-rata.
