Working in a temporary to permanent position for our client based in Oxfordshire.

Job Description
Primarily to co-ordinate all of the companies mobilisations and ensure information is accurate and reliable to enable payment of TUPE transferees on a right first time basis. During periods with no mobilisations, to aid the remainder of the payroll team to provide a full and accurate payroll service to the Company including the processing, payment and accounting of all elements of fixed and variable payments to all employees.

Requirements

Responsibilities

•Act as a point of co-ordination for payroll for all of the company's mobilisations. This may involve some travel to incumbent sites.
•Checking and auditing the input to payroll for new contracts and ensuring payroll policies and procedures are communicated to new employees
•Acting as a key member of mobilisation teams including full co-ordination with the HR Operations, HR Administration and HR Systems teams.
•Other payroll duties will fall in line with those of HRA Level 2 – Payroll dependent on the time available in-between mobilisation exercises: these will include:
•Responsibility for all time processing for time recording that result in variable pay including some input, checking of all submissions from different sources, corrections and maintenance of data in accordance with pay dates.
•Responsibility for processing payroll transactions and updates including electronic interfaces from business units, HR Systems team and IT.
•Processing of simple and complex termination and redundancy payments
•Identification of overpayments and implementation of procedure to ensure repayment
•Provision of specialist advice to the HR team, where required, on PAYE and NI payments
•Responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication with all employees and other departmental interfaces, including the resolution of issues on a first and second line basis
•Responsibility for resolution of account reconciliation
•Escalation of all payroll issues to the JR HRBP Payroll & expenses
•Responsibility for related payroll duties as required or assigned and discussed on an individual basis.
