It's certainly not for the faint-hearted - we'll expect you to work hard and be 100% committed to fulfilling your potential. You will need to take the lead in driving your own development and show energy, drive and passion as you work towards your Foundation Degree - and a career with Arla Foods. Applications are now open for the remaining spaces on the October 2014 intake for the Trainee Dairy Technologist scheme, and the deadline for all applications is the 8th August 2014. Telephone interviews will be conducted from the 19th-22nd August with an assessment centre being held on 9th September in Leeds. On this 3 year structured programme you will spend residential periods each year gaining technical know-how at a purpose-built, £multi-million training dairy at Reaseheath College in Cheshire, the specialist training academy for our industry. When you're not at college, you'll be based at an Arla Foods site putting your learning into practice, so you'll need to be prepared to live away from home. You will be expected to rotate nationally into different sites across the business to gain as much experience as possible if family and personal circumstances allow. You will need to impress us with your desire to learn and your ability to take the lead and make your career ambitions for the future a reality.
