Responsibilities

Duties

Drafting and issuing commercial correspondence.
It is essential that the candidate has experience within the water industry, contract rather than client, ideally both but mainly contractor.

Reporting to the Site Agent and Project Manager, the Sub Agent will monitor and control safety, cost, programme, materials and resources; will procure and plan ahead; will implement the highest safety standards including the production and reviewing of method statements and risk assessments. Candidates must have a working knowledge of how to administer a quality and environmental management scheme; have technical skills to implement and understand temporary works, design and build and complex engineering operations; have some knowledge of forms of contract and commercial running of projects and must be able to stand in for the Site Agent when required.
Candidates must also have previous experience of highways, structures, earthworks and hard landscaping. Projects will range from £1m to £40m and be predominantly under EEC form of contract.
