Job Description : RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Analysis of client regulatory and best practice compliance.
.Provision of evidence supporting observations of non compliance.
.Recommendations for corrective action to remedy non-compliances.
.Producing bespoke general and regulation specific risk assessments.
.Writing client specific policies, work instructions and method
statements for a wide range of hazards.
.Development of proactive risk management strategies for clients to
minimise their health and safety risk exposure.
.Delivering and developing health and safety management systems.
.Report preparation using approved style and content templates in
approved timescales.
.Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint, as required.
.Compliance with internal business systems.
.Make recommendations for improvements in client service and
delivery.
.Provide an enthusiastic consultancy role.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
.NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
.Membership of IOSH (essential).
.An detail understanding of UK Health & Safety Legislation
complimented with knowledge ofFire Safety
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
.Must have a health and Safety experience aswell as experience of
Fire Safety.
.Experience developing and delivering OHSAS 18001 or other health and
safety management systems would be preferable.
.Proven experience in a health and safety consultancy environment
desirable or alternatively applicants will be required to demonstrate
commercial understanding of consultancy.
.Commercial awareness of pricing and profitability.
.Client focussed.
.Must be well organised, with good time management.
.Self motivated and driven.
.A high energy professional capable of influencing clients at all
levels.
