Job Description: Design Manager - Regeneration

The Division:
The Infrastructure Division currently has around 175 staff and is headed up by the Infrastructure Director. He is supported in his role by three Associate Directors who are in turn supported by a number of Associates, Programme Managers and Team Leaders.

The Team:
Regeneration services are provided within the Environment Unit which forms part of the Infrastructure Division. The Environment Unit is based in Carlisle and is headed up by an experienced Associate with 15 years post qualification experience. The unit consists of around 30 staff organised into a number of teams. He is supported in his role by Programme Managers and Team Leaders.

The unit predominately provides landscape, environmental, ground risk and regeneration services for public sector clients, in particular local authorities and regional development agencies in the north of England. It also provides specialist regeneration advice to a growing number of private developers and individuals.

The unit's regeneration professionals work closely with colleagues in other offices, particularly in the north east and in the regeneration areas of Barrow-in-Furness and West Cumbria.

Requirements: Design Manager - Regeneration

Objective Qualities:
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate:
· Degree in planning or construction related discipline
