Maths Teacher
Connaught Education are currently seeking a well qualified Mathematics teacher for a lovely independent school based in Surrey. The Mathematics department is looking for a well qualified, committed and inspiring teacher who is prepared to play a full part in the teaching and promotion of Maths.
Maths is set by ability in years 7-11. The school follow Edexcel GCSE and the Edexcel A' Level and further A Level courses. In addition the successful candidate will have the following:
* Have the ability to offer imaginative and well-structured lessons across the age range. * Work co-operatively with colleagues. * Show initiative in accepting responsibility. (Extra responsibilities in the department may be offered to a candidate with appropriate experience). * Monitor and record students' progress in accordance with departmental and school policies. * Promote the AS /A2 Maths courses to potential Sixth Form students. * Attend and contribute to departmental meetings. * Contribute to the development of departmental resources. * Keep an oversight of the work and progress of pupils, especially those who are gifted or have specific learning needs using appropriate data e.g.MidYIS. * Maintain professional skills through INSET and CPD programmes. * Be active in exploring innovative ways of delivering ICT through Maths and in promoting independent learning.
Qualifications: * A degree in Mathematics or an appropriate related discipline. * A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification is desirable although not essential

Connaught Education is currently seeking a after school club supervisor to work 5 afternoons a week within a school based in Stourbridge.
The successful candidate will have a passion for working with children and have a patient yet professional nature. You will be running a team of 3-4 staff and you will be expected to run the club in the standard the school expects. You will have a level 3 or over qualification in childcare and have at least 2 years experience of working for a before and after school club, this will be run in term time only. Experience of working in a supervisory capacity is essential. Duties will include supervising children aged 4 to 7 years old at the club and any other related tasks as required.
