THE ROLE

To provide support to System Partners, and to aid in the integration of manufactured robots. Support will also include Offline programming (OLP), debugging and application training.

Support Engineers: Working within the Airbus Manufacturing facility at Broughton, near Chester, our support team provides on site engineering support for all of our bespoke CNC machines, fixtures and sub assemblies. This is much more than a 'fix it if it broken' position and we are looking for highly motivated, determined individuals who enjoy a challenge and are keen to get involved in all aspects of engineeringto join our existing team. As a member of our support team you will play an instrumental role in ensuring uninterrupted wing assembly production by means of reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a professional, who is either Chartered, or someone who is progressing towards Chartered status in their career.

You will be working on design projects and will be responsible for developing the design from initiation through to completion, working in collaboration with other disciplines to ensure that the final design satisfies functional requirements, delivers value to the client and takes into account CDM and Environmental issues.

Some Operations or Construction experience could be useful, but is NOT essential.

Whilst this is NOT a Planner role, some familiarity with MS Project would be beneficial.

Good commercial awareness and judgement skills is required. You will also have good client facing skills and be able to focus on project delivery and quality.

In liaising with the end Client and relevant third parties, you will be presentable and able to express yourself clearly in both written and oral formats. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, you will be able to meet deadlines and manage project budgets and schedules.

Assists customs authorities on all aspects of control and inspections.
Represents Global Logistics with external organizations, including LLP, carriers and suppliers
Coordinate the local LLP/LSC.
Be the interface for LLP, Plant Logistics and carriers

Qualification / Skills required by the Traffic & Customs Clearance Analyst / Logistics Coordinator :

You should have a professional Logistics experience and qualifications in this area, with experience of Transport and Logistics functions. Preferably educated to HNC/Degree level and willing to commit to obtaining any relevant professional qualification if required.

Applicants will need to have the technical capability to translate current UK and EC Customs legislation into company policy and procedures and international Customs and Regulation knowledge.

Experience of negotiating with and influencing senior management, external authorities and all customers Good IT skills, statistics and intranet applications would be an advantage.
