The building is close to Moorgate station and is only a year old. It is one of the most high tech buildings in the area and houses some of the most state of the art technology within the building services industry.

The engineer will be looking after all landlord services within the building and the role will be working from 8.00 - 17.00, Monday to Friday.

As the building is almost brand new and as it starts to become more occupied, there will be the chance to increase staff and build a maintenance team on site.

The main duties of the role will include:

General maintenance of all electrical and mechanical plant.
Operating Trend BS.
Completing paperwork such as log books etc.
Liaising with the on a weekly basis.
Attending meetings.
Dealing with external sub contractors.

Applicants for this role must be able to meet the following criteria:

Fully electrically or mechanically qualified to City and Guilds level.
16th or 17th Edition.
Previous building maintenance experience within a commercial office environment.
Knowledge of BMS and HVAC.
Knowledge for water treatment.
Must be smart and presentable and have excellent work ethic.
Previous experience of supervising own building would be beneficial.

• Design and produce motion control software, preferably using one or more of the following;
Allen Bradley, Siemens, Bosch-Rexroth, Lenze.
• Design and produce user interface software (Human Machine Interface).
• Produce customer documentation, including manuals and operating instruction.
• Produce and provide on-site training on equipment and processes.
• Potential candidates must be able to work to supplied estimates and budgets, with minimum supervision.
• Potential candidates will be required to work, as and when required, to complete projects in allocated timescales. This includes test and commissioning both at factory premises, and at the final customer premises. This will involve periods of travel, both UK and overseas.

The Person;

Preferably a ‘Time Served’ Electrical Engineer.
Must be HNC / HND or Degree qualified in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
Must be confident to work alone at customer premises.
Must be well presented and possess reasonable negotiating skills.
Must have a clean driving license.
Knowledge of Web-Transport / Winding equipment would be a distinct advantage.
Must have a sound understanding of mechanical systems.
Preferably have knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
