Business Product Manager
LOCATION: Rugby, Warwickshire
The Role
The objective of the role is to identify, develop and maintain all commercial aspects of our software products and services to ensure successful market launch and performance that meets or exceeds the product business plan, including:
Maintain industry knowledge and develop relevant programmes to maximise product opportunities, which are then reported to Product Strategy for approval of projects.
Develop and maintain the strategic plans (including product roadmap and product vision) for assigned products and new product opportunities including high level project vision, marketing plans and future product requirements
Develop and implement company-wide market introduction plans and associated marketing collateral for new and enhanced products, working with all departments to execute them successfully
Resolve product, service and product-related company issues by working with the Technical Product Manager and other relevant teams, ensuring that the company is portrayed in an accurate and positive light, and undertake regular audit testing for released data as required
Product Management policies, Product Management standards, corporate standards and company procedures are adhered to and maintained at all times
Product strategies and business cases are clearly documented and well-understood by product stakeholders and relevant project teams
Product requirements and associated stakeholder needs are clear, well-understood and effectively-managed and changes are adequately controlled
Released products and service introduction plans are completed and delivered.

The successful candidate
The successful candidate will need to possess the following attributes:
Product management experience, including pricing, promotion requirements gathering, evaluation of business case and P&L
Experience of market research, analysis, marketing and strategy
Experience of product development and marketing of software
Experience of driving a sales team and liaising with a marketing team
Experience of finance industry is desirable
