Reporting to the National Account Manager, the Sales Order Planner is responsible for the accurate processing, planning, and delivery of orders for the major and national accounts within the portfolio, not only from the UK and Le Havre, but direct from the Supply Units as appropriate.

The position involves inputting and planning orders via local systems, checking prices and price variations, and accurately raising invoices, whilst balancing against pressures to secure the despatch of products as quickly as possible. There is close liaison with both internal and external customers, ensuring that customer requirements and expectations are resolved quickly and efficiently, and measures of delivery performance are paramount. A prerequisite is a sound understanding of Supply Chain and Distribution, linked to the commercial activities of our business.

Managing local systems including SOP, WMS, and DEP
Load planning and vehicle utilisation
Dealing with customer enquiries regarding stock, delivery, price and product specification
