Reporting to the Business Analyst Manager, this is a high profile role with significant exposure to external clients, management and business users. The successful candidate is required to liaise with business and IT groups to understand business requirements and manage both internal and external expectations. The main responsibilities include requirements gathering, liaison with technical and business staff, documentation, application testing and defect management.

The Business Analyst is required to liaise between all parties involved in on-boarding new business. They will to look at the business and system requirements of the new business and will manage the deal take-on project. The Business Analyst will play a central role in the success of the project.
The Business Analyst is also responsible for managing deliverables on each project undertaken, ensuring that all deadlines are met and any issues escalated appropriately.

Experience
• Exceptional analytical and organisational skills.
• A detailed understanding of Fixed Income products - Interest Rate and Currency Swaps, FRA’s, Asset Backed Securities, Corporate Bonds, Commercial Loans, RMBS, CMBS, Commercial Paper.
• Strong experience of using and/or supporting Summit.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Must be able to clearly organise and document user requirements into formal Business Requirements, Functional Requirements and System Specifications.
• Excellent information gathering skills.

The purpose of the role is to support the delivery of Records Management within global operations in accordance with the requirements of the Global Records Management Policy. As well as supporting remedial activity in respect of legacy issues thereby reducing unnecessary business costs.

Responsibilities:
• Support work / investigations into legacy issues relating to Records Management failures, including sampling legacy records to determine age / type / owner of records impacted and make recommendations for resolution
• Provide basic Records Management guidance to business operations as required, including providing advice / guidance on the management and destruction of business records in the normal course of business
• Assist with the annual reviews of the jurisdictional Records Retention Schedules, including collating decisions and maintaining a database of schedule updates in anticipation of the annual reviews
• Manage the records of the “International Records Management Programme” including those that relate to Legal / Regulatory activity and maintain the International Records Management Intranet site
• Assist with the preparation of Programme reports for key stakeholders
• Support work relating to Legal Holds, Regulatory Notices, and Financial Investigations

Internal Audit's mission is to contribute to the effectiveness of the Company's internal controls by providing independent, risk-based assurance reviews designed to identify control risks, risk mitigates, control gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
Internal Audit carries out independent reviews across all areas of management activity, including ad-hoc reviews at the request of management, involvement in key projects and reviews of systems under development, and formally report’s findings with recommendations to the Audit Committee, Executive, Senior and Line management.
The department is responsible for reporting on risks and the control environment across all areas of the business and the support functions to senior management (in the US & UK) and to provide management with reasonable assurance that operating controls are adequate and effective.

In order to be considered for this role candidates will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Knowledge of, and skill in applying, internal auditing and accounting principles and practices, and management principles and preferred business practices would be an asset, as would awareness or familiarity with the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and the Code of Ethics developed by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Knowledge of information systems terminology, concepts and practices.
• Skilled in conducting detailed audit reviews: collecting and analysing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.
• Knowledge and/or experience of applications development environments, user acceptance testing, change management and end user computing controls.
• Knowledge of operating system technology (i.e. Unix and Windows), databases (e.g. SQL & Oracle), Web-based technology, and basic infrastructure control issues.
• Experience in assessing IT infrastructure control environments in both mainframe and distributed platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills for performing auditee interviews, negotiating issues and resolving problems. Also, ability to self motivates and able to take ownership of tasks allocated, with limited supervision over once understanding of our methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of generally accepted IS audit standards, statements and practices, and IS security and control practices (e.g. ITIL, COBIT, FFIEC, ISO27001, Prince).
• Working knowledge of perimeter and infrastructure security would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of the financial services industry and its regulations and laws would be an asset.
• Experience in supervising application reviews on an integrated basis, and taking responsibility for audits from planning to reporting and issue follow-up.
• Experience with advanced technological auditing techniques such as continuous auditing, CAAT's, and security assessment tools.

Qualifications:
• Degree in relevant subject (e.g. information technology) desirable
• Qualified IT Auditor (QiCA or CISA) preferred (They will also consider candidates willing to undertake study leading to a recognised professional IT Audit qualification).
