Carefree is the Camping and Caravanning Clubs in-house Travel agency.
We are currently seeking a Carefree Senior Marketing Executive to join our head office based in Coventry. The main purpose of this role is to support the Product Marketing Team in its mission to increase the penetration of Carefree products amongst the membership base and to the wider market where deemed beneficial.
Within this role your main responsibilities will include writing marketing plans, setting long and short term objectives in line with the Club’s strategic objectives. Using and exploiting knowledge and resources to aid the team in the development of marketing plans, schedule, implement, deliver and review tactical marketing campaigns and develop all necessary creative and campaign briefs. Liaison with the Carefree team and all suppliers/stakeholders to ensure achievement of one goal and vision to set timescales. Understanding competitor behaviour and conduct market research to support the development of marketing plans using quantitative and qualitative methods.
You will also be expected to assist the Brand Manager with the Carefree sub-brands and communication of these to the membership base.
The successful candidate will have worked within a similar marketing role previously and will have experience of e.marketing. Creative in your approach you will be capable of planning and project managing various projects and you will have excellent communication and presentation skills. As well as a strong team player you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and quick to spot new opportunities. It is essential that you have proven experience of consumer travel and leisure sales.
We are looking for an individual with a strong personality who is able to think outside of the box and exudes enthusiasm, creativity, originality and has a natural challenging drive. You should be quick to make decisions and have a strong commercial focus and awareness. A vacancy exists in the Exempted Camping Department for a part-time Exempted Camping Advisor.
(Part time – 20 hours per week,
Wednesday 1145hrs – 1645hrs , Thursday and Friday 0845hrs – 1645hrs )
This role requires you to have excellent verbal and written communications skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You will be a team player with the ability to use your own initiative and be computer literate with excellent customer service skills.
The key responsibilities will be processing Certificated and Listed Site applications, entering details onto a database and dealing with general queries regarding Temporary Holiday Sites and Meets. You will also be required to task prioritise your workload on a day to day basis, handle telephone enquiries from internal and external sources, and advise prospective site owners of sites rules and regulations including the Club’s Exemptions and legislation.
