Job Purpose
To provide a support service to clients and colleagues by utilising standard policies and aimed at securing operational efficiencies and service improvements through the use of a common set of practices and tools throughout the SME division. To contribute directly towards the achievement of the divisional objectives by ensuring all contractual deadlines are met and by developing, planning and implementing strategies to ensure all work is completed in the most cost efficient manner possible. To respond promptly to client calls operating a policy of closing at least 60% of the calls received.

Reporting to: Client Service Manager
Duties and responsibilities
Deliver operational services to clients in line with accepted call times.
Log information and resolutions accurately within the call logging system ensuring detailed relevant records can be followed by colleagues
Identify calls that are outside normal expectations and liaise with the Line manager immediately to ensure a resolution is achieved in the most cost-effective efficient manner.
Co-operate with the Line manager with the resource allocation processes to support the delivery of our service in the most cost-effective manner.
Ensure that standard policies, processes and documented instructions are implemented, operated efficiently and reflect current work practices.
Maximise each opportunity to improve clients understanding of their service e.g. refer to guides, output prints etc.
Complete all paperwork fully and accurately to meet required standards and work procedures

Customer Excellence
Co-operate with senior management in all aspects of continuous improvement and total quality management.
Make all client contact in a professional, effective, polite manner.

People and Behaviour
Communicate with all people within the company with respect, in a positive manner, setting an appropriate example with regard to all aspects of work and behavior.
Share knowledge and experience with members of the Division as appropriate.

Must have a very good telephone manner as all queries are dealt with over the telephone or email.
