Description

|
This top 10 accountancy practice has a reputation as a dynamic, growing and forward thinking organisation that sees financial planning as an integral part of its future.
This role entails working in their established Guildford office with access given to senior partners to develop further both the existing client bank and leads that are passed over. Clients are predominately HNW individuals with complex financial requirements including tax mitigation, specialist pensions and investment planning.
It is therefore expected that applicants have a demonstrable track record of providing high quality advice in the independent arena, preferably with wealthy clients. It would also be beneficial if candidates have experience dealing with professional connections or at least have experience of developing business through introducers.
Applicants will be fully FPC qualified and are expected to have completed (or at least be progressing with) the Diploma befitting the status of the company and the complex nature of the type of advice given. |

Description

|
Our client is one of the most recognisable global accountancy brands with a deserved reputation for excellent service within their specialist IFA division. In order to facilitate growth and help the senior consultant write an increasing level of business an additional paraplanner is now required to help provide a high degree of support in the office.
The majority of clients are HNW individuals with overall assets in excess of £2m, although the accountancy partners do provide leads from the corporate arena. Offering bespoke financial planning, the office also carries out discretionary portfolio management giving the client base a scope of advice above and beyond what is generally available.
To be considered applicants will have experience in the independent arena providing technical support to an IFA, preferably involving private client advice. Whilst the CertFP qualification is the minimum standard, progress with advanced Diploma qualifications would be advantageous, with the company expecting that the successful individual will progress down this route.
This position is ideal for Home Counties based individuals looking for the type of role usually only available in the City of London. It offers genuine long-term prospects, a competitive salary and bonus potential. |

Description

|
Exchange Street has been retained by this well established, South Manchester based wealth management IFA to once again assist in the growth of the firm.
Since its inception, the directors have overseen an impressive growth rate that has resulted in an improving turnover year on year. Clients have been generated through an equally impressive list of joint ventures with firms across the region, providing a steady stream of HNW individuals and corporate clients to be serviced. A high proportion of their income is now derived from trail commission making this a stable, profitable outfit.
As part of their overall growth strategy they look to add an additional IFA periodically. Aided by experienced directors with managerial experience, the firm can offer the necessary guidance to enable an individual to establish themselves at the top end of the market, as well as being able to help out with some leads, as the firm also carry out seminars.
Alongside this is an expanding technical support team offering admin and paraplanning support, meaning that any IFA at the firm is completely focused on business development.
Whilst long-term being self-employed may be better for the adviser, the firm will support with funding or can offer an employed contract, as they appreciate some IFAs will prefer the stability of a salary when they start. They also have in place a structure that enables practice buy-outs as well as being able to set up each IFA in their own mini-practice.
This is therefore an opportunity for a high quality adviser from either a banking or IFA background to become an IFA in the HNW arena in a supportive, dynamic and focused working environment. The packages on offer reflect that the firm see such individuals as integral to the business with real long-term strategies in place. |
