Job description
Providing hydrogeological knowledge and project management experience to a wide range of water resource and contaminated groundwater projects. Preparation of EIA and ES documents to support planning application for groundwater abstractions, commercial development, quarrying operation, mining and landfilling. Maintain existing and develop new clients.
Background Information
Senior Hydrogeologist required to meet sector needs to maintain and grow hydrogeological business both here in the UK and Overseas, particularly the Middle East. Candidates must be willing to work overseas when required.
Desirable Qualifications: MSc Hydrogeology/water resources or a PhD in a related area. Chartered status.
Essential Qualifications: BSc Geology or earth sciences
Essential Experience
Groundwater flow modelling - including contaminant fate transport. Water resource assessment and low flow investigation work. Drilling and commissioning of groundwater production and monitoring wells. Catchment management - to protect water quality. Diffuse pollution migration. UK Driving Licence. Proven track record of project management. Good report writing and verbal communication.
