Due to continued success our client has created a new role within their packaging department where the successful engineer will have full responsibility for the packaging department including setting up PPM schedules ensuring maximum efficiencies and minimum breakdowns You will be fully multi skilled with experience of electrical and mechanical maintenance and experience of working with food packing experience is essential ideally including MultiVac knowledge and experience. The job holder will be experienced in dealing with customers, auditors and local authorities and conversant with the BRC Standard version 6, retailer codes of practice and web based quality management systems. Knowledge of environmental legislation would be advantageous but not essential as training and support will be available. The main responsibilities for the job holder are: • Ownership of the site QMS / EMS and drive business improvement through the internal audit schedule • Right first time customer, supplier and internal specifications • Maintain effective and efficient document control systems • Provide clear communication of non-conformances and ensure rigorous corrective actions are completed • Provide support to the Quality Manager during site visits and compliance audits The job holder will report to the site Quality Manager and the hours of work can be fairly flexible within a Monday to Friday operational working pattern.

We are looking for a detail orientated, confident Materials Controller to join this growing manufacturer. You will have a track record in building relationships with suppliers whilst controlling material flow into the business. The Material Controller Job Description * Convert MRP recommendations into purchase orders for release to external suppliers, expedite purchases to maximise the On Time in Full performance for all suppliers * Align the Bought In Finished Goods raw materials to the forecast * Manage the stock holding totals in line with targets through the Stock Review KPI * Maintain the data accuracy in MRP including the clear down of old MRPs and suggested orders * Order consumables in line with reported stock holdings against reorder point levels * Develop strong working relationships with external suppliers to ensure that all requirements are met * Identify overdue orders and track incoming material to meet projected manufacturing output * Forecast and expedite potential problems that arise in relation to delivery dates, quality, quantity, and cost * Provide accurate information and complete root cause analysis * Provide full analysis on material shortages for review with recommendations for improvement and prevention of reoccurrence * Provide information for analysis for use in conjunction with KPIs * Highlight any system anomalies and identify solutions * Maintain computerised records on externally sourced materials and supplier information The Successful Materials Controller will have; * Experience gained as a Materials Controller within the FMCG sector * Understanding on MRP and system functionality * A track record in building relationships with suppliers

Warehouse Manager (Day and Night roles available) South Wales £27-£33k Plus Competitive Benefits Commutable from Bristol, Chepstow, Cardiff, Newport and South Wales With a recent restructure our client a well established distribution company is looking for 2 motivated Warehouse Managers, one to cover the day shift and one for the night shift. You will lead the Warehouse daytime operations team, stock management processes, support central replenishment department, goods intake, and pick face replenishment, inventory counting, QA, stock availability, stock loss and house keeping standards. Your responsibility for the day to day management of the Day Shift; include effective control of resources, the morale and development of your team through regular one to one’s, appraisals, training and personal development plans and the highest standards of service to your internal and external customers. A disciplined but flexible approach is essential, to ensure that all activities are completed to a very tight time scale across the duration of the shift. As part of your role, you will be required to ensure that all Company policies and procedures including Security and Health and Safety are adhered to as well as the achievement of strict pre-set budgetary controls and Key Performance Indicator targets. You will have a flexible attitude to working hours and the ability to support other departments from time to time including night shift and supporting the Operations Manager to achieve various audit standards.
