Night Production Manager Friday to Tuesday Fresh Food Leicester
You will Report into the Preparation Manager and your key responsibilities will be;
Management and Achievement of KPI's, including preparation efficiencies, customer service, cost control, people, quality and health and safety delivered through your Team Leaders.
Management Training and Development of your Team Leaders and their teams to ensure optimum effectiveness
Appreciation and responsibility for ingredient quality and safety
Undertake and lead key business projects
Liaise with all areas of the business to ensure you successfully meet manufacturing targets.
Understanding and involvement in the NPD process
Responsibility for all People Management aspects within your team and the promotion of a positive working environment
Key relationship with planning, including of how the plan works and its build up
Experience of continuous improvement techniques and working practices.
You will be part of the Management Team and therefore expected to contribute to the business at this level.
To be successful in this role, you should have strong people skills, be an excellent communicator, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks/activities at any one time. You will need to have strong decision making skills and experience of working within a chilled food environment at this level. Computer Literacy, and commercial awareness are also a pre requiste of the role.

Seeking an experienced Inventory Planning Manager.
Accountabilities
Define and deliver local stocking policy based on:
Central Stocking Policy.
Market Demand.
Warehouse Space.
Inputs from Sales and Dealers.
In addition:
Coordination of Inventory Management activities with local Distribution team.
Support recommended stocking list maintenance.
Determine scrapping priorities on the potentials communicated by the central Inventory
Management, according to Warehouse capacity and European Inventory budget;
Optimise warehouse space utilisation in coordination with Warehouse management
Coordinate World Class Logistics' "Inventory Management Pillar" definition and implementation in the depot.
Activities
Definition and Maintenance of management and operational reporting#using Data Warehouse tools, Excel, Access#.
Set-up and execution of KPI analysis; deployment of corrective/improvement actions#system parameter changes, process re engineering, manual actions#, follow-up;
Coordination and Delivery of Business analysis.
Implementation of Inventory actions#parts availability
increase, stock transfers, space availability projects# in coordination with other functions.
Requirements:
Masters/ Degree qualification in Science, Statistics or Engineering # or equivalent#.
Previous Management Experiences#team leading#and an ability to work within a team.
Knowledge of programming and database languages and proficiency in PC, Databases, Spreadsheets.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing tools; Cognos, Business Objects, SAP-BW.
Expert in Inventory Management.
Experience in KPIs measurement, data analysis;
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes and principles.
Fluency in English and another main European language#French, Italian or Spanish#.
Ability to commute mostly across Western Europe for at least 10 % of the working year.
Good Communication skills and an ability to work under pressure in a rigorous and autonomous way in order to manage tight deadlines.
