Job Description:

We require an additional Account Manager to proactively develop and retain our client relationships and income by introducing and promoting our product range to existing clients. Working alongside the existing Account Manager, you will together form the link between our clients and the rest of the team, acting as day-to-day contact and focusing on ensuring that we meet or exceed clients’ expectations in service, as well as quickly and effectively resolving short and long-term issues.

Role Overview

Due to our growing client list, we are looking to expand the Account Management team and take a more proactive approach to communicating with clients, building on the established quarterly telephone reviews with a view to holding face-to-face reviews every 2 years, where appropriate. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Software Development Team Manager will Manage a team of software developers working on new product developments and support and maintenance of released products.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Staff Management;

• Provide leadership and motivation to a group of software developers.
• Manage the team in line with current HR policies and deal appropriately with conduct issues by following correct disciplinary procedures.

Overall Purpose of Position
To ensure the smooth running of all IT equipment and services. To resolve any issues regarding PC Support, Phone Support, Software or Hardware issues flagged by users in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate to all staff of any incidents, which may affect the provision of IT services. Keep clients informed regarding the status of their query until successful resolution.

Key Responsibilities
• Maintain Windows network infrastructure. Administration of Active Directory.
• Maintenance of user mailboxes & email accounts
• Maintenance and support of all mobile devices including smartphones, tablets etc.
• Administration of phone systems, including setting up new users, training and support.
• Act as the first point of contact when an issue is flagged by the user. Assist and advise staff on a range of IT related issues.
• Resolve incidents in a timely and efficient manner, keeping the client informed regarding the status of their query until resolution.
• Create new user accounts, prepare and configure equipment and conduct induction for new users, all in accordance with previously agreed timescales.
• Regular maintenance and updating of Asset Register. Ensure company assets are correctly accounted for and allocated to the appropriate member of staff.
• Maintain the daily back-up process.
• Manage and maintain printers and liaise with support partners for repairs
• Create, maintain and utilise desktop/laptop images using appropriate systems
• Produce and maintain documentation of any solutions, Standard operating procedures and processes required to efficiently deliver IT services.
• Prioritise and resolve mission critical equipment and IT services.
• Implement any necessary upgrades and changes within agreed timescales in order to minimise disruption to users.
• Selection and ordering of new Hardware and Software, test new products.
• This role focuses on combining customer service skills and technical knowledge in order to provide high levels of 1st/2nd line technical support.
• Extensive contact with all colleagues within the Steljes Group of companies – at all levels of seniority.
• External contacts – suppliers of Hardware, Software and Telephony products. IT equipment providers, third party business application suppliers.

Qualifications, Experience and Expertise
Essential
• Previous experience in a similar role, providing second or third line of support to ends users.
• Demonstrable skills in Hardware and Software Analysis.
• Highly knowledgeable in IT systems, including Networking Technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN), Operating Systems (Windows XP, Windows 2000 & 2003/8 Server. Strong application support (MS Office, Sage, Sales Logix Epicor, MS Dynamics AX).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent interpersonal skills.
Desirable
• Good standard of education, a relevant further qualification (A+, MCP, CCNA) would be most useful.
• A keen analytical mind, excellent problem solving skills.
• Demonstrate skills in multitasking, prioritising and able to work effectively under pressure.
• An understanding of Project Management principles.
• Understanding of ITIL principles

Job Description

The IT Coordinator is responsible for receiving requests for assistance or problem reports from users, performing an initial analysis, and invoking the proper support mechanism.

Delivering exceptional customer service to the business at all times.

There will be a split shift system in place so hours will alternate weekly between 8am – 4.45pm and 9.15am – 6.00pm.

· Take face to face visits, calls and emails from users with regard to IT requests for support and services.
· Obtain the necessary information for users to adequately describe the incident, problem or request.
· Enter the information on the Service Desk system
· Respond to the request if within own areas of expertise
· In all other cases direct the request to the most appropriate support area (technician, support partner etc.)
· Liaise with the user to ensure that their requests have been handled satisfactorily
· Ensure that service desk processes and procedures are followed correctly and escalate to IT Support and Infrastructure Manager with exceptions
· Ensure that the solutions documentation database is maintained
· Create new user accounts, prepare and configure equipment and conduct induction for new users
· Regular maintenance and updating of Asset Register. Ensure company assets are correctly accounted for and allocated to the appropriate member of staff.
· Undertake basic daily checks of the status of IT systems following adequate instruction and update records accordingly and escalate issues accordingly.

Essential
· Previous experience in a similar role requiring exceptional customer service and administrative skills
· Demonstrable skills in MS Office Software and Windows operating systems
· Good basic understanding of IT systems and networks, including printers, scanners, cabling etc.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent interpersonal skills.

Desirable
· Good standard of education, a relevant further qualification (A+, MCP) would be most useful.
· A keen analytical mind, excellent problem solving skills.
· Demonstrate skills in multitasking, prioritising and able to work effectively under pressure.
· An understanding of Project Management principles

Additional Information
Any of the following qualifications would be beneficial, but a similar level of experience would be acceptable:

· ITIL Foundation (V2 OR V3)
· MCP - Microsoft Certified Professional
· MOS - Microsoft Office Specialist
· Any IT related qualification or HNC/D or Degree
· Good basic understanding of IT Systems and networks, including printers, scanners and cabling. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, excellent interpersonal skills and strong organisational skills.
