Working as Meetings and Events Coordinator your duties will include:

Dealing with incoming enquiries relating to Meetings & Events
Recording details from initial booking stage through correct completion of enquiry forms.
Keeping all conference and event files updated with all correspondence, and any amendments, confirmed in writing to the client, and backup kept on file.
Collation of function sheets for issue to internal departments after authorisation of M & E Manager.
To ensure all sales enquiries are dealt with in a pro–active manner and converted to bookings to the agreed Pedersen standard
To ensure the enquiry log is updated and utilised for all live enquiries
To ensure all denied business is pre-authorised by Meetings and Events office Manager.
To ensure that all brochures, and information is sent to the client within 24 hours of receiving the request and meets the Pedersen minimum standard.
To have in depth knowledge of the hotel's products, services and limitations to help sales and keep abreast of changes and in house promotions
