We have an excellent opportunity for a conscientious, organised and highly accurate pay-roller to join our client covering maternity leave.

Working on Sage Payroll and to strict deadlines your duties will include the following:

• Weekly payroll processing for 260 staff
• Chasing outstanding timesheets
• Processing SSP and SMP payments
• Handling payroll enquiries
• Advising managers and employees of deductions and overpayments

In addition to payroll duties you will also be responsible for balancing approximately 75 tills per week, investigating and resolving any issues with the store supervisors.

About You

Applications are invited from individuals with previous payroll experience, knowledge of SSP and SMP and strong communication skills. You must be reliable, able to work unsupervised and under your own initiative.
